Details

The Madrid is a 'fitness' sandal, which increases the activity in your foot muscles. It triggers a gripping reflex in the foot, with every step you take. When walking, the continuous switch between tensing your muscles and relaxing, will exercise your feet and legs as well as promoting circulation

Upper Material
Birko-Flor. Man made fabric, with soft fleece backing. Skin friendly, tear resistant and low maintenance.
Buckle
Powder coated for protection against corrosion. Attached with 4 inward curving clamps.
Footbed
Original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The famous anatomically shaped cork latex core, between two jute layers.
Footbed lining
Suede leather lining 2.8 - 3 mm thick. This provides an optimum climate for your feet and unsurpassed wearing comfort.
Sole unit
7mm EVA. A great shock absorbing and lightweight material, offering exceptional grip.
Adhesive
Environmentally friendly water-soluble and solvent free adhesive.
